Tuition and Rates
(Effective March 1, 2025)
NOTE:
The below estimates are based on Transport Canada minimums, any additional training required to meet standards will be billed at the applicable rate.
Based on training on Cessna 172 price excluding fuel surchage and taxes is from $262.00/h solo and the $355.00/h dual.
Class 1 Instructor rate is $133/h, Class 2 is $117/h, Class 3 is $106/h, and Class 4 rate is $99/h.
These prices do not include applicable taxes & fuel surcharges. GST (5%) will be collected on all fees and PST(7%) taxes will be collected for all solo and rental flights.
Fuel surcharges are extra fees charged by fuel companies to cover the fluctuating cost of fuel. Currently charged at the rate of $31.37/h.
All prices shown include a domestic registration fee of $250+Tax and an International student registration fee of $500+Tax.
A credit card surcharge of 2.4% applies to credit card payments.

Recreational Pilot Permit

Private Pilot License

The average individual may not complete the Private license in the Transport Canada minimum time stated above. The national average is 80 hours.

The ground school cost is included in the Private Pilot License program.
